Stephanie Soergel studied at the University of Freiburg, at Trinity College in Dublin, and at the University of Konstanz (Constance). She passed the first state legal examination in 2012 and then served her legal clerkship in Munich and New York City. After her legal clerkship, she worked as a research assistant in the Institute for International Law at the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition. After passing the second state legal examination in 2014, she earned her PhD writing on a comparative law topic in competition law. Stephanie Soergel is a certified business mediator (cvm).
Before Stephanie Soergel was appointed a notarial assessor in 2018, she worked as an attorney in an international commercial law firm and as a magistrate for the State of Baden-Württemberg. From 2019 on, she worked as a notary administrator in Stuttgart, until she was appointed as a notary in 2020. She specializes in real estate and corporate law.
